Hello; I follow you nonstop; but I have a question? I am newly install, a week and half after my retie I feel like my hair is matting at the root. Or the locs are sticking together. I have the interlocking technique. Why is my hair doing this

My hair was 14 inches at install and took 50 hours to install, close to 600 locs 🙃 Would have been GREAT to start short

I wash mine every 2 weeks.

It's nice to hear a professional that doesn't instantly hate 2 point rotations. I've been told it's bad because it gives a looser look, but then no one follows up on why that's bad if you like the look... I have fine 4a hair that's been dying to loc my whole life so I'm not too concerned about anything coming apart, and higher volume is appealing, though I will keep an eye on it and not be hard headed if I need to up the rotation haha

The tension many times is because there was not enough new growth for a full rotation. 6-8 weeks does not work for everyone

Hey Pauline! I’m back in AL feom Tamap, FL. Now I’m about 40 miles from Montgomery. I’m just catching this video which I had known😢 I really need your expertise hopefully I’ll catch you someday.

I just ordered this tool from Bramble. My hair is dense but soft, curly, and rebellious especially out of the top. I’m almost 5 yrs in half with sealed in half not. I also have some that unravel in various spots on some locks. I’m going to attempt to correct this. I’m tired of the open ends that are too loose curly or fuzzy loose and fat. I’ve decided to take control of my own hair bc most consultants will not do this for clients thanks Pauline!

I will have my microlocs soon, should I do a clarifying shampoo for a certain amount of months before including a moisturizing shampoo since I can't use conditioner? How soon and often can i do steam treatments?
